Farleigh Hospice is a high-performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illness in the Mid-Essex region.

Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve, and we are currently recruiting for an excellent administrator who will play an essential part of the Corporate Administration team.

As a Corporate Administrator, you will be a people facing person who will enjoy talking to and helping others. Tasks include answering calls, responding to queries (in person and over the phone/email), shared inbox management, team and database administration, purchasing and procurement, invoicing, reporting, postal and stationery services.  You will provide assistance with some cover on the reception desk where you will be taking payments, welcoming visitors and supporting the reception volunteers as and when required.  You will play a vital role in supporting our befriending service – The Farleigh Helpers - where you will assist with the recruitment of volunteers, training, IT, daily administration, screening calls and providing emotional support to volunteers and service users. Your organisation and administration skills will also be used to support the Corporate Services Director in regular project and data work using in-house systems, research, arranging meetings, taking minutes and keeping contracts and policies up to date.
