Retail Homeware & House Clearance Manager

We are seeking a focused and enthusiastic person for a very special retail role at Farleigh Hospice – a Retail Homeware and House Clearance Manager to lead this exciting venture for us at Farleigh Hospice!  

Are you a confident retail manager looking for a new challenge? 

Are you able to manage customer enquiries and quotations for our house clearance services and able to be hands on for house clearance tasks? 

This role is diverse and involves managing a retail homeware store alongside quoting for house clearances and managing two teams of drivers and their mates.  If you want to be at the heart of your community raising vital money and awareness of our services – and leading a fabulous team – this could be the role for you! You should: 

Enjoy working with people and has a friendly approachable manner. 

Be able to communicate effectively and have relevant commercial awareness 

Have the ability to build, maintain and develop a team alongside a growing new business 

Have strong drive to achieve results with a can-do attitude.  

Have good IT, literacy and numeracy skills 

Have a clean driving license
